Florence Ferguson, 78, of Greeley, passed away Thursday October 2, 2014, at the Hospice and Palliative Care of Northern Colorado.

Florence was born on January 16, 1936 in Cylinder, Iowa to Otto and Edna (Rambath) Iverson. On November 4, 1953, she married Eugene Charles Ferguson in Iowa, and together they built a family and lived happily for 46 years. Florence spent her years working for the Campbell Soup Company in Worthington, Minnesota. Though she loved her job, after 37 years, she retired and moved to Colorado to be closer to her loving family.

Florence is proceeded in death by her two sons, Charles Edward Ferguson of and Jackie Lee Ferguson, both of Greeley; her two daughters, Mary JoAnne Behrends and Wanda Rose Thomas, both of Greeley; her two sisters, Mae Stevens of Emmetsburg, Iowa and Beatrice Dorweiler of West Bend, Iowa; and 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Charles Ferguson, her sister, Helen Michelson, and her parents, Otto and Edna Iverson.

A graveside service for Florence will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Linn Grove Cemetery.
