Frank L. Zamora, 73, of Greeley, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at University Hospital in Aurora.

He was born December 20, 1945 to Jesus & Juanita (Luna) Zamora in San Angelo, Texas and moved to Eaton, Colorado as a very young child. He attended Eaton Schools and later Aims Community College.

Mr. Zamora worked as a paralegal in Greeley for 20 years. He enjoyed his dogs and traveling, but it was his family that he loved most of all, especially his wife, Linda Matthews to whom he was married in 1980. A quiet man, he was our rock.

During Vietnam, Frank served in the U.S. Army as a crew chief, flying every day, and served his country proudly. A true and loyal friend to many. The last 2 years he fought very hard, without any complaint, dealing with Melanoma as a result of Agent Orange. He never gave up or gave in.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Zamora of Greeley, his sons, Tate (Heather) Matthews of Denver, and Bryan Zamora, a daughter, Sheila Zamora, 5 brothers, Jesus (Naomi) Zamora, Noe (Rosie) Zamora, Emmett (Norma) Zamora, Eloy (Carol) Zamora, Ruben (Teresa) Zamora, 5 sisters, Alice (Paul) Zamarripa, Eramida (Tony) Ravira, Esther (Steve) Vigil, Elma (Mike) Martinez, and Diyanna (Matthew) Hernandez.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Juanita Zamora, and a brother, Art Zamora.

Recitation of the Rosary will begin 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 13, 2019 at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans. Immediately following the Rosary, there will be a Celebration of Frank’s life, also at the funeral home.
