Garnetta Brooks, 72, of Greeley passed away on Friday, June 21, 2019 at the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland.
She was born June 6, 1947 to Garnett and Berdine (Grogger) Norbury, in Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from Raytown South High School, in Raytown Missouri.
Garnetta married Frank J. Brooks on November 30, 1974, in Kansas City Missouri. She worked as a secretary for Hallmark Cards corporate office, in Kansas City, and later as a medical transcriptionist in Greeley, Colorado where she and Frank have resided since 1986. She was an avid Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals fan.
Survivors include, her husband Frank, her son, Ryan (Sarah) Brooks of Las Vegas, Nevada and her 4 grandchildren, Clinty, Clara, Christopher and Adam Brooks.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a son, Lance Brooks and a brother, Dennis Norbury.
