Garuah “Jane” Adams, 73, of Evans passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Centennial Health Care in Greeley.
She was born August 4, 1945 to Clarence Milton & Olive Maroa (Colby) Holmes in Brush, Colorado. She attended high school in Fort Morgan and on July 21, 1960 she married Harold H. Adams, Jr. in Raton, New Mexico. They made their home in the Fort Morgan/Brush area until they moved to Evans in 1972.
Jan was a fan of car racing and the Denver Broncos. She enjoyed watching the Antique Road Show on television and was an avid reader and knitted many beautiful pieces. She liked being outside camping or gardening.
She is survived by her husband, Harold H. Adams, Jr., sons, Robert (Leanne) & Michael Adams, daughters, Julie Owens and Cathy (Wes) Buhr, a brother, Steven M. Holmes, as well as 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
She was preceded by her parents, a brother, a son, and a granddaughter.
A celebration of Jane’s life will be held at 11:00-5:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Village Park, 3700 17th Avenue, in Evans.
