Gary Spradling, 81, of Greeley, passed away on June 18, 2022, at his home surrounded by family.

He was born in Kansas City, Missouri December 20, 1940, to Hugh & Jane (Garrett) Spradling. Gary served in the United States Navy from 1958-1961. He retired from the Colorado State Patrol with 17 years of service and went on to work for Werner Trucking for 13 years as a safety director.

Gary's passion in life was his Goldwing motorcycle and the many trips he took with his wife, Barb. He loved his family, especially those grandkids and loved his Colorado Rockies and Denver Broncos. Never missed a game!

Gary is survived by his wife Barbara, brother Tim (Diane) of California, sisters Jennifer of Texas, Susan of California and sons Randy of Denver, Cory and Darren (Lana) both of Elizabeth, daughters Rhonda (Tony) of LaSalle and Lisa of Denver, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Gary was preceded in death by his father and mother Hugh and Jane, a brother Michael, a daughter Cindy and granddaughter Brooke.

Gary's true legacy will be his strength of character and the way he lived his life.

Private family service will be held in July at Fort Logan National Cemetery and a Celebration of Life at a later date.
