Gary Elwin Yarnell, 77, of Evans, passed away at his home on Saturday, February 27, 2016 surrounded by his family.

Gary was born to Wilbur Eugene and Isabelle Nadine (Ives) Yarnell on April 15, 1938 in Alliance, Nebraska. He graduated high school in 1956. Gary served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years, and then went on to work for Hewlett Packard, retiring after 25 years. He attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and enjoyed woodworking. He married Karen J. McDaniel on April 21, 2007 in Greeley, Colorado.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Yarnell, as well as five sons, four daughters, a sister, and nine grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Isabelle Yarnell, and his first wife, Ruth Yarnell.

A celebration of Gary’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 3408 34th Street Road in Greeley.
