George H. Schleif, Jr. 80, of Platteville passed away Friday, July 18, 2014 at his home. He was born July 22, 1933 to George Schleif, Sr. and Margaret Duffy in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. On December 17, 1958, he married Carole Whelan. George earned a degree in electronic engineering. He was an outdoorsman & craftsman. He is survived by his wife, Carole Schleif, a son, Doug Schleif & wife Katie, a sister, Margie Vierra and grandchildren, Dillon & Melissa Schleif.
