Gerald "Jerry" Linwood Rudd, 86, of Evans passed away at his home on Thursday, September 26, 2024.

He was born August 24, 1938, in Exeter, California to Thomas Raymond and Juanita (Robertson) Rudd. He served in the United States Air Force in California. In 1978, he married Barbara Jean Jones in Fresno, California. He then moved to Evans, Colorado in 2023.

Working as a chef and later owning his own restaurant, JR Coffee Shop, in Fresno, California, Jerry enjoyed cooking and running his own business. He loved all sports but was especially fond of football. He like watching his California teams including the LA Rams and San Francisco Giants.

Jerry is survived by his sons, Rober L. and Christopher L. Culver, his daughters, Kimberley R. Martinez and Kerri J. Rodriguez, a brother, Stan Rudd, 9 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Rudd, sons, Kevin and Brandon Rudd, his parents, Tom and Juanita Rudd, siblings, Lendle Rudd, Tommy Rudd, Bonnie Weatherhead, Billie Perry, and Bobbie Rudd.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 11, 2024 at the Pentecostal Church of God, 395 Peach Avenue in Clovis, California. Graveside Inurnment will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, 32053 McCabe Road in Santa Nella, California.
