Virginia "Ginny" Louise Blair, 72, formerly of Longmont, Colorado passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2013 in Greeley. She was born on May 25, 1941 in Denver, Colorado. Ginny graduated from Sheridan-Union High School in Denver in 1959. She edited and published the Bakersfield Business Journal in Bakersfield, California and the Go!Seniors Newspaper serving the 55 community in Kern County, California. On May 18, 1982, Ginny married the love of her life, Florentino "Frank" E. Blair. The couple were happily married for 31 years and, combined, had nine children. As Ginny liked to remind her family, she believed "patience is a virtue." Survivors include her husband Frank Blair of Greeley; her children, Marisa Williams of Parker, Colorado, Kevin Williams of Brooklyn Park, Maryland and David Williams of Bakersfield, California; her step children, Cindy Hooper of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Debbie Brier of Elizabeth, Colorado, John Blair of Evans, Colorado and Melissa Harmening of Ft. Mills, South Carolina. Ginny is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 1 great grandson and her three sisters, Katherine Iles and Christine Gdovin both of Grand Junction, Colorado and Margaret Wolf of Pueblo, Colorado. She is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Dorothy (Hoberg) Holmes, her son Joseph Williams and her step daughter, Pamela Richardson. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 3791 Pike Road in Longmont, Colorado. Visitation between 10:00 and 11:00 on Thursday at the church.
