Glen Konya November 1, 1958-April 14, 2008 Age 49 Glen Konya died near Severance, Colorado. Residence: Ault, Colorado Tribute: Glen was born to John and Teressa J. (Yonchak) Konya in Lower Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Mr. Konya lived most of his life in Pennsylvania where he owned and operated G.K. Taxidermy in Guys Mills, PA. He also worked as a bear hunting guide in Canada. Glen was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking and exploring on his mountain bike and motorcycle. Glen touched a lot of peoples lives but he was most noted for his dedication to helping strangers in need. Survivors include a daughter and husband, Mindy and Casey Peterson of Erie, Pa;,his mother and stepfather, Teressa Konya and Bud Casto of Mesa, AZ; his father and stepmother, John E. and Lin Konya of Greenville, S.C.; 2 brothers, John Konya of Vermont and Brian Konya of Youngstown, OH; a sister and husband, Bonnie and Kevin McGrew of Chandler, AZ and 2 grandchildren, Elise Peterson and Ian Peterson, both of Erie, PA.. Glen also leaves behind his dear friend Erin Miller. A memorial gathering will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 on Friday, April 18, 2008 at the Ault V.F.W., 100 1st Street in Ault and an informal reception will be held from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at Glen's home at 123 2nd Street in Ault.
