Grant Carl Ledall, 62 of Eaton, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2022, surrounded by his family.
He was born on August 21, 1959, in Greeley to Charles August and Marjorie Ann (Gustasfson) Ledall. He graduated from Eaton High School in 1977. He later attended auctioneering school in Kansas City.
Grant married Linda Sue Comer in Eaton on July 10, 1982, and they were married for 32 years. Together they raised 4 kids west of Eaton. He worked at Producers with his dad for many years and later started multiple companies including Classic Packaging and Mark It Printing. He continued his love for auctioneering over the last 10 years.
In addition to auctioneering, he loved watching his kids and grandkids play sports, playing softball and was a member of the Swedish Club.
His quiet faith in God carried him through a 5 year cancer ordeal, faced with courage and patience. He adopted the moto "One Day at a Time". Above all Grant loved his family. As a grandfather for the last 14 years; Grant affectionally became known as Papa Grant by his 6 grandkids.
Survivors include his mother, Marjorie Ann Ledall; 2 daughters, Maggie Lee Yarber and Terin Lyn (Chris) Swain; 2 sons, Chad Walker (Loren) Ledall and Gavin Grant Ledall; his grandchildren, Talen and Peyten Yarber and Maddox, Paxton, Bexley and Broox Swain; his brothers, Gary (Brenda) Ledall, Gordon (Lindee) Ledall and Glenn (Marilyn) Ledall.
He is preceded in death by his father, Charles August Ledall.
A memorial service to celebrate Grant's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at Generations Church, 3600 W. 22nd street in Greeley. A private family graveside service will be held at the Eaton Cemetery on Thursday.
