Hector Neavez Sr., 63 of Greeley, died on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at the Hospice & Palliative Care of Northern Colorado Inpatient Unit. He was born on May 7, 1945 in Rio Bravo, Coah., Mexico to Ricardo and Evangalina (Mendez) Neavez. Hector married Gloria Rosales on August 2, 1969 in Rio Bravo. They later moved to Greeley in 1989. They were members of the Elam International Church in Greeley. Survivors include his wife Gloria Neavez of Greeley; 1 son and his wife, Hector & Luselva Neavez of Greeley; 3 daughters and their husbands, Annalilia Neavez and Jose' Juan of Mexico, Berenice Neavez and Arabel of McAllen, Texas and Paloma Neavez and Giovani of Greeley; 4 sisters, 6 brothers and 16 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother. A funeral service to celebrate Hector's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2008 at the Elam International Church (2015 2nd Avenue) in Greeley. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Friday at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans.
