Helen Riley, 88, of Greeley died Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at her home. She was born April 25, 1923 to Thomas and Ethel Porter in Whitefish, Montana. She married Joseph Riley on December 3, 1944. Most of her adult years were spent in and around Warsaw, New York. She moved to Greeley in May of 2008. Helen was truly an angel on Earth. Anyone who knew her was blessed by her kindness and love of life. She is survived by her 3 sons: Buddy Riley of Santa Barbara, CA, Bob Riley of Rochester, NY and Boyd Riley of Greeley, CO, her granddaughter, Nikki Hillesland of Greeley, CO and her Great granddaughter, Ashleigh Darbin of Greeley, CO. Helen is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Colleen (Connie) Darland, Alice Porter, and her brother, Thomas Porter, Jr. A memorial service celebrating the life of Helen Riley will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Destiny Christian Center, 6250 W. 10th Street, Greeley.
