Helen Margaret Premer , 87 of Greeley, passed away after a brave battle with Alzheimer's on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at the Bonnell Good Samaritan Community. She was born on August 6, 1925 near Milliken, Colorado to Fred and Charlotte (Miller) Lesser. She married Clyde Darrel "Humpy" Premer on June 16, 1945 in Loveland. He preceded her in death on February 24, 2004. Helen had the ability to make light of everything, including her illness. She made many friends through her hospitable and cheerful attitude. One of her proudest accomplishments is that she got her high school diploma (GED) when she was 37 years old. Her favorite hobbies were bowling, Bingo, gardening and trips to Central City to gamble with her sister Bertha. Survivors include her daughter, Carol Blehm and partner Dave Stout both of Greeley; 2 sons and their wives, Paul and Naomi Premer of LaSalle and Randy and Colleen Premer of Greeley; 2 brothers and their wives, Larry and Judie Lesser of Greeley and Fred and Karen Miller of Loveland; 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband Clyde Premer, she is preceded in death by 4 sisters and an infant brother. A funeral service to celebrate Helen's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans. Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 19th at the funeral home.
