Helene Marcia Fast Faulconer passed away June 12, 2011 at the age of 70.
"Honey," as she was known by all her loved ones and friends, was born in Asbury Park, New Jersey March 28, 1941. She spent the majority of her childhood in San Francisco and still considers it her home. Honey moved to Greeley in 1974.
Honey worked for Mountain Bell for several years and spent 14 years at the local cable company, now known as Comcast. Honey had a positive impact on anyone who came in contact with her and remains friends with all. Honey's passion was cooking and collecting cookbooks. She was a life-long San Francisco 49er fan counting Joe Montana as her favorite player.
She is survived by her brother, H. Steven Fast and his wife Elizabeth of Pleasanton, California, her daughter Melissa L. Beard and her husband Tim of Mountain Home, Idaho, her son Paul C. Faulconer and his wife Jaime L. of Greeley, grandchildren William M. Beard and his wife Ashley of Valdosta, Georgia, Alisha N. Sanchez and her husband Julio of San Antonio, Texas, Timothy S. Beard of Mountain Home, Idaho, Michael A. and Joshua P. Faulconer of Greeley, Colorado, and great grandchildren Zachary R., Victoria I., and Mia L. Sanchez of San Antonio, Texas. Honey was preceded in death by her mother and father, Arthur J. and Adele M. Fast.
The family will be having an open house on Friday, June 17th from 5 pm to 8 pm at 3922 W. 14th Street, Greeley. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society. The family is planning to fulfill Honey's wishes and lay her to rest in San Francisco.
