Howard William Pershing, Sr., of Greeley, passed away January 10, 2011.
Howard was born February 14, 1926 to Addison and Mabel (Zuhlke) Pershing. Howard served in US Navy. He married Mary Hughes in Alaska. He lived in Arizona before moving to Greeley, in 2010.
Howard worked for General Electric.
Survivors include sons; Steve Pershing of Arizona, Ed Pershing of Alaska, Howard Pershing, Jr., and John Pershing, both of Colorado and nine grandchildren.
Howard is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Mary Pershing.
Private family services will be held.
