Irene Bethel Lorance 63, of Greeley died on August 16, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family. She went to be with the Lord following a two and a half year battle with breast cancer. She was born on March 19, 1947 in Pueblo, Colorado to Alvin and Rosetta (Padget) Taylor on March 19, 1947. She moved to Greeley in 1995 and lived with her sister Frances Fry and (husband) Bill. Irene married Douglas Lorance in 1999. She worked for 9 years at Carl's Jr. Survivors include her husband Doug, mother-in-law Winona, Sister-in-Law Connie, Stepson Jon & Grandson Jonathan. She is also survived by 7 brothers, 5 sisters, numerous nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her first husband John Ware and her father Alvin Taylor. A memorial service to celebrate Irene's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at the Greeley Wesleyan Church, 3600 22nd Street in Greeley. A luncheon will follow the service.
