Irene B. Webeck, 82 of Greeley, died on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at the Hospice & Palliative Care of Northern Colorado Inpatient Unit in Greeley. She was born on December 9, 1925 in Stephenson, Michigan to Steve and Elizabeth (Ruiz) Doboy. Irene married Rubin E. Webeck on November 4, 1944 in Stephenson, Michigan. He preceded her in death on November 25, 2003. They lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin from 1950 until 1963. They moved to Rochester, Minnesota and lived there until 1979 when they moved to St. Petersburg, Florida. They moved to Greeley in July of 2002. Mrs. Webeck worked for many retail stores as a shipping and receiving clerk and she retired from Montgomery Wards in 1979. She enjoyed crafting and going to Las Vegas and the dog races. Survivors include 2 sons and their wives, Marlin Butch and Charlsi Webeck of Greeley and Michael R. and Roseria Webeck of St. Charles, Minnesota; 4 grandchildren, Todd Webeck of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Heather Chaney of Omaha, Nebraska, Kelly Johnson of Rochester, Minnesota and Matt Webeck of Rochester, Minnesota; 5 great grandchildren; a sister, Rosemary Sharp of Phoenix, Arizona and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rubin, 4 sisters and 1 brother. Graveside services will be held at a later date at the Royal Palm Cemetery in St. Petersburg, Florida. A local memorial service in Greeley will be held 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at the Crossroads Christian Church,3451 23rd Avenue in Evans.
