Jacquelyn “Jacque” Vernita (Lorimor) Panter, 79, of Greeley, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, April 22, 2016.
Jacque was born on Dec. 26, 1936, in Agra, Kansas, to Verle and Juanita (Schrock) Lorimor. She grew up in Phillipsburg, KS where she graduated high school in 1954. She then attended Ft. Hays State University in Hays, KS.
On May 2, 1955, Jacque was united in marriage to Clark “Monte” Panter and moved to Greeley in 1969. Jacque worked in the Life and Health division for State Farm Insurance for 25 years.
She was baptized in the Church of Christ as a child. She enjoyed gardening, especially flowers, photography, traveling, reading and was an avid Denver Broncos fan.
Survivors include her son, James (Debbie) Panter; daughter, Sheri Clift; two grandchildren, Cristin (Wes) Lundeby and Ryan (Mindy) Clift; great-granddaugher, Dillyn Clift; sister, Sharon (Larry) Irvin; along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clark “Monte” Panter; her parents, Verle and Juanita Lorimor; Clark’s parents, Albert and Edna Panter; son-in-law, Rob Clift and a great-niece, Lauren Merklein.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 27th at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the chapel.
