Jaime Acevedo Montes, 64, of Kersey, Colorado, died on Sunday, February 12, 2006 at his home.
He was born on December 31, 1941 in Ahualulco De Mercado, Jalisco, Mexico to Brigido and Rosa Aro.
Jaime moved to Kersey, Colorado in 2001 from La Puente, California where he lived for 30 years. He worked as a construction contractor and as a truck driver for most of his life. He enjoyed traveling to scenic places, cooking and photography.
Survivors include a son, Javier Acevedo of Ft. Worth, Texas; 4 brothers, Ramon of Kersey, and Antonio, Efrain and Fernando all of Ft. Worth, Texas; 3 sisters, Margarita, Maria and Rutilia all of Ft. Worth, Texas and 1 grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday (Feb. 15th) from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel in Evans. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 20, 2006 at the All Saints Catholic Church in Ft. Worth, Texas.
