James "Jim" Goodwin, 59, of Greeley, quietly died in his sleep on Saturday, October 14, 2006 at his home. He was born on October 1, 1947 in Jamaica, New York to William H. and Rosemary (Strandvolt) Goodwin. Jim was a 1965 High School graduate from Taylor High School in Taylor, Arkansas. Jim married Beverly A. Bingham on June 29, 1968 in Springhill, Louisiana. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 12 years. He worked his way up to Operations Supervisor for B.J. services, where he was employed for 30 years. He fought oil well fires in Nigeria and worked in Russia in International Pumping Services. Jim lived to fish, he also enjoyed hunting. Jim is survived by his wife Beverly, His son James Jr. 'Tiny' Goodwin of Cedar City, Utah and his daughter Sherry 'Liz' Brownlow of Lumberton Texas, He is also survived by 3 Grandchildren and one brother Robert Goodwin of Springhill. Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother William H. Goodwin Jr. A Memorial Service to celebrate Jim's life will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday October 18, 2006 at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans, Colorado. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of Moser Funeral Service.
