James Ryan Jacobson, known lovingly as "Pony", 34, of Ft. Collins, Colorado passed away unexpectedly on May 19, 2023, in Longmont, Colorado.
He was born November 17, 1988, to Tina Trisler and Jefferey Jacobson in Greeley, Colorado. Growing up in Johnstown, Colorado, he attended Roosevelt High School. James was a member of the Roosevelt High School football team and had earned a letter his Freshman and Sophomore year.
From 2008 to 2016 James resided in Magnolia, Texas which is when he began a career in HVAC. James was an avid Dallas Cowboy's fan and enjoyed participating in fantasy football. He attended church services at Grace Community Church in Johnstown. James especially enjoyed spending time with all his animals and loved them dearly.
He is survived by his mother, Tina Torres and stepfather Freddy of Cypress, Texas, Father Jeffrey Jacobson of Illinois, his brother Robert Grayson III (Tristan Holiman) of Greeley, Colorado, sisters Stevie Grayson-Rhodes (Justin) of Cypress, Texas, and Gina Jacobson.
He was preceded by his grandparents Byron and Nancy Jacobson and Hank and Peggy Trisler, and his uncle HJ Trisler.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
