Janis Drovdal of Eaton died on Saturday, March 14, 2009. She was born on October 25, 1954 in Wausau, Wisconsin to Lester and Lucille (Behrendt) Krienke. Janis graduated from Wasson High School in Colorado Springs in 1972. She later married Doug Drovdal in 1973 in Colorado Springs. Mrs. Drovdal worked for State Farm for 25 years. She loved the outdoors and playing tennis. She especially loved being around people and her passion was her friends and her family. She loved her family and always felt like she got the daughter that she always wanted when her son Josh married Heidi. Her life became even more complete when her grandson Tayen was born. Survivors include her husband Doug Drovdal of Eaton; her son and daughter in law, Josh and Heidi Drovdal of Greeley; her grandson, Tayen Drovdal of Greeley; her parents, Les and Lucille Krienke of Colorado Springs; 2 sisters and their husbands, Lois and Tom Wright of Demopolis, Alabama and Marilyn and Mike Anderson of Madison, Wisconson and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate Janis' life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2009 at the Christ Community Church, 1301 15th Street in Greeley.
