Norma Jayne Beilby, 74, of Greeley, entered Heaven’s Gates on October 5, 2017 at North Colorado Medical Center.
Jayne was born March 29, 1943 to Fred Herman Armstrong and Corra Belle Lowman Armstrong in Brush, Colorado.
Throughout her career, she worked at Pawnee Power Plant, The Green Jacket, Greeley Producers and many years at Farmer’s Inn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Corra Belle Armstrong, and by her brothers and sisters, 16 in total.
Jayne is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Beilby of 50 wonderful and loving years; sons, Scott Armstrong (Vangie), Kevin Armstrong (Ruth), Ron Beilby (Katie), and Darrin Beilby, a daughter, Kimberly Beilby (Terrell Deering); grandchildren, Shawn, Jay, Macay, Kyanne, Sage, Conley, Brittney, Hunter Jaelyn, Ian, Austin and Alyssa; great grandchildren, Ivy, Hunter, Audree, Mackenzie, Jordan, and Phoenix, a brother, Jimmy Armstrong, and a sister Mona Armstrong.
A consummate mother and homemaker, Jayne especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She was the epitome of altruistic, always putting others welfare ahead of hers, even in her final days.
Jayne, we will always remember you, your love, care and generosity for others, and all the good times, thanks for being our hero.
The family would like to thank the services of NCMC, especially the devoted Emergency/ICU staff that cared for her in her time of need; your kindness, compassion and professionalism will always be remembered.
Per Jayne’s wishes a private family service will be held.
