Jeanna Elise Parkos, 44, of Evans died on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at her home She was born on May 10, 1965 in Golden, Colorado to Robert O. and Mildred Boren. Jeanna attended school in Kersey growing up on her parent's acreage south of town. She greatly enjoyed caring for small children and training her Great Danes. She is survived by her husband, Jeff Parkos; her daughters, Kaitlyn and Alicia Parkos of Evans; her parents, Robert & Mildred Boren of Greeley; 3 sisters, Ann Zarezadegon and husband Paymon of Greeley, Sue Boren of Hudson and Laura Mendoza and husband Phil of Greeley; her father and mother in law, William and Marjorie Parkos of Greeley; her brothers in law, Mike and Dan Parkos of Greeley and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate Jeanna's life will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at the Cavalry Chapel, 2602 W 27th St. in Greeley.
