Jeanne Rose, 88 of Greeley died on Monday, July 23, 2012 at the Hospice & Palliative Care of Northern Colorado Inpatient Unit. She was born on March 27, 1924 in Radcliffe, Iowa to Leonard and Maude (House) Rose. Jeanne married Man E. Harris in Germany in 1947. She enjoyed sewing knitting and crochet. She was a great baker, loved to cook, read, work in her garden, and travel. She thoroughly enjoyed giving to others. Throughout her life, Jeanne worked for various companies in accounting. She proudly served in the United States Army during World War II in Germany. Survivors include 3 daughters, Kim Stevens of Cheyenne, WY, Debbie Lehwald of Greeley and Nonnie Harris-Cohen of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Patrick, P.J. and, Kanani Stevens, Selina and Tiffany Lehwald, and Jason and Josh Strunk and great grandchildren, Jonathon, Sam, Evelyn Rose, Jake Jewett, Anthony James and Elizabeth. She is preceded in death by brothers Walter and Leonard Rose, sisters Anna, Joyce, Verge, Viola and Alice. Private family services will be held at a later date.
