Jeffrey Parkos, 47, of Evans, died Friday, March 9, 2012 in Greeley. He was born June 12, 1964 in Owatonna, Minnesota, to William and Marjorie (Myrah) Parkos and moved to Greeley with his family in 1970. Jeff grew up in the Greeley area, attending local schools and working in the area. He graduated from Greeley Central High School in 1982. After attending the University of Northern Colorado for a short time, he joined the family business, Craftsman Decorating, Inc., working alongside his father and many others for years. He was most recently president of the company, having assumed that role after the passing of his father in 2010. In 1986, Jeff married Jeanna Boren and they had two wonderful daughters, Kaitlyn and Alicia. They shared a house in Evans. Jeff enjoyed working for the family business, fishing, raising Great Danes and spending time with his daughters. He will be greatly missed by his family. Jeff is preceded in death by his wife, Jeanna, his father, William, his father-in-law, Robert Boren, and his grandparents. He is survived by his daughters, Kaitlyn and Alicia, his mother Marjorie, his brothers, Michael (Suzanne) and Daniel (Jody) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. Jeff's family will greet friends during a visitation which will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 15th at the Calvary Chapel, 2602 W. 27th Street in Greeley.
