Jeri Jo Griego, 43, of Evans, Colorado, passed away August 2, 2023, at University Hospital in Aurora, Colorado. She was born December 30, 1979, to Jerry and Mary (Torres) Griego.

Jeri Jo was a homemaker by profession, and she put her heart and soul into making her home a sanctuary of love and warmth. A proud alumna of Greeley Central High School, she held fond memories of her school life. Throughout her life, Jeri Jo poured her love and energy into caring for others.

Jeri Jo loved her children and family and some of her most enjoyable moments were spent with family and friends. She loved to cook, and her culinary skills were legendary among those who knew her. Jeri had a contagious laughter, and a heart of gold, she was always thinking of others, and was a very giving person. She loved reading the word of God and singing gospel music. Throughout Jeri's life, she treated everyone she met with love and kindness, no matter who it was.

She always wondered what heaven would be like, and now she doesn't have to wonder any longer, as we know our beautiful angel is rejoicing with our Lord in heaven. Jeri will be truly missed by everyone she knew. "Love you always Jeri" – Love Mom, Dad, Salina, Gabe, Allissa, Alexis, Bella, Avery, Dominic and Dayvon.

Jeri Jo is survived by her parents, Jerry & Mary Griego; her adoring daughters, Allissa Griego, Alexis Padilla, and Bella Griego; and her siblings, Gabriel Griego and Salina Griego.

She was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Selani Griego, Abraham Torres, and Josephine Torres; her special uncle, Fermin Griego and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. Her legacy of love, courage, and generosity continues to live on in the hearts of those she loved most.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 10, 2023, at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel. Funeral Service will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday August 11, 2023, also at the Funeral Home.
