Jerry Wade Bartling, 82 of Greeley, formerly of Boulder, died of natural causes Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2006, in Greeley at the Bonell Good Samaritan Center.
The son of Oscar Henry Bartling and Frances Beheymer Bartling, he was born Jan. 20, 1924, in Springfield, Mo.
Mr. Bartling lived in Boulder from 1964 to 1998.
He served in the 11th Armored Division of the U.S. Army during World War II and worked as an engineer for Trailmobile and Timpte Industries Inc.
Survivors include a son, Tom Bartling, of Lafayette; and a daughter, Sharon Grogan, of Halls Crossing, Utah.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Unitarian Universalist Church of Boulder, 5001 Pennsylvania Ave.
