It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister and daughter, Jessaca Faye Smart, who passed away on July 18, 2026.

Born and raised in Colorado, Jessaca found joy in life’s simple pleasures and treasured the time she spent with those she loved. Above all, she loved her son, Tanner, whom she welcomed into the world in 1997.

Jessaca had a love for the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing and camping. Those who knew her often smiled at the fact that while she loved to fish, she refused to touch either the bait or the fish once she caught it. It was one of the many little quirks that made her uniquely herself and brought laughter to those around her.

She also enjoyed traveling, cooking, and baking. Jessaca found happiness in preparing meals and treats for family and friends, expressing her love through food and the joy of sharing it with others. She especially loved cooking for the people she cared about.

Jessaca cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her mom. She shared a special bond with her neighbor and best friend, Ron, whose companionship brought her much comfort, laughter, and countless memories.

Jessaca will be remembered for her caring heart, her love for her family, and the joy she found in cooking, camping, fishing and spending time with those she loved. Though her life was not without its challenges, we choose to remember the moments that brought smiles, laughter and connection. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who loved her.
