Jessica "Jess" Ann Stertz, 34, of Evans, Colorado passed away January 17, 2024. She was born September 4, 1989, to Suzette Cushing and Andre Manzanares in Denver, Colorado.

She attended Ranum High School in Westminster, Colorado, and was a member of the 2007 graduating class. Jessica earned her license as a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked in the medical industry as a caregiver and CNA for 15 years.

Jessica enjoyed watching hockey, and swimming, as well as all types of outdoor activities, especially hiking, and fishing. She had such a keen eye for art and was very talented in the arts as well, producing many paintings, drawings and arts and crafts projects. Jessica especially loved spending time with her kids and loved ones, she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her parents Suzette Buss and her stepfather Jeff Buss of Thornton, Colorado; her sons Abram and Asher Stertz; daughters Annabella and Azariah Stertz all of Brighton, Colorado; her grandmother Cheryl Erhart of Greeley, Colorado; brothers Jeremy Manzanares of Greeley, Colorado; and Tyler Manzanares of Montbello, Colorado.

She was preceded by her father Andre Manzanares, her grandmother Terry Lujan, and her great-grandmother Beverly Moyers.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 29, 2024, at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 11th Ave. in Evans, Colorado.
