Jocelyn Lola (Tomenchuk) White, 58, of Greeley Passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at her home.

She was born July 8, 1956 to Stefan and Victoria (Fushtey) Tomenchuk in Indian Head, Saskatchewan, Canada. Jocelyn graduated from Kelsey Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences, with a diploma in Nursing. She moved to Colorado from Canada in 2000, and has lived in Greeley, CO for 14 years.

Jocelyn was a dedicated labor and delivery nurse. She started her career at the Royal Alexandria Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta. She worked in Kincardine, Godrich, Wingham, Scarborough, Ajax, and Bowmanville in Canada, and in Fort Morgan, Greeley and Longmont in Colorado. She had been a nurse at the Longmont United Hospital for 14 years.

Jocelyn had a very close relationship with both of her daughters and her granddaughter. She enjoyed spending time with her family, growing a garden, skiing, traveling, spending time with friends from work, and cooking. Everyone she had worked with both nurses and patients always said what a caring nurse she was and she loved her job.

She is survived by her daughters Laura White of Greeley, CO, Sandy White & Chris Pickell of San Antonio, TX, a granddaughter Nevaeh White of Greeley, CO, a brother Terry & Linda Tomenchuk and her sisters, Phyllis & Keith Raesler, Gloria Tomenchuk, and her mother Victoria Tomenchuk all of Edmonton, Alberta. She is preceded in death by her father Stefan Tomenchuk and father-in-law Don White and his wife Gina Smiley-White.

A memorial service to celebrate Jocelyn’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans.
