Jodin Rey Hansen's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts we celebrate the life of Jodin R. Hansen, born on August 30, 1996, in Greeley, Colorado. Jodin's time here with us was cut short on August 06, 2023, at the age of 26.
A 2015 graduate of Eaton High School, Jodin was remarkably kind and had a huge heart with an unwavering loyalty to those he loved. He had an infectious laugh and could make anyone smile with his gentle personality and creative wit. He was always willing to give his time and lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Jodin loved his mom fiercely and still called her Mommy. He also had a very special relationship with his Auntie April and cousin Brady.
Jodin had a love for the outdoors, speed, and gaming. Whether he was immersed in a virtual competition, riding wide open, or relaxing in the mountains he created his own adventures. When he wasn't working with his dad and brother he could be found hanging out with friends or "tricking out" anything with an engine.
Jodin is preceded in death by his grandparents and great-grandparents: J.R. (Dianne) Hansen and Grandpa Skeet, and Johnny & Helen Mapes and Gordan & June Dumdei, and Uncles: Gary Dumdei and Uncle Dave Mapes, and his beloved bird Kipper.
He is survived by his parents: mother, Janey (Allen) Landfair and father, Joel (Katie) Hansen, his brother: Jace (Taylor) Hansen, his niece: Teagyn Hansen, and his grandmothers: Darla Hansen and Ellyn Trimble, and his cat Felix.
His aunts & uncles: Daun (Jim) Egli, Auntie April Mapes, and Donna & Marlin Krupp
His cousins: Brady Mapes and Kimber, Ben, and Ayden Austin
Jodin will also be missed by many close friends.
As we grieve his unexpected death, we invite you to celebrate his life knowing that he made this world a better place.
Celebration of Life Open House Service will be held from 2:00-5:00pm on Friday, August 18, 2023, at Moser Funeral Home 3501 11TH Ave Evans, CO 80620.
