Jose "Joe" Nicholas Gomez, 67, of Greeley, passed away on November 24, 2021, at North Colorado Medical Center.

He was born February 18, 1954, to Felix & Mary (Vasquez) Gomez in Greeley. He attended Greeley Central High School and went on to work in transportation as a truck driver. In 1972, he met his lifelong partner, Starla Hess.

Joe enjoyed restoring cars and watching wrestling matches. He was always cracking jokes with his friends and family.

He is survived by his wife, Starla Hess, his daughter, Misti, his son, Joe, 3 grandchildren, Tylyn, Isaiah, and Taylor, 4 great grandchildren, Aaron, Rozalie, Giovanni, and Amias, his brothers, Danny, Paul and Felix Gomez, and a sister, Suzie.

He was preceded by his parents, Felix and Mary Gomez.

A private family service was held.
