John Benjamin Lucero, 53, of Greeley, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2020 at North Colorado Medical Center.
He was born June 12, 1966 in Greeley, Colorado to Neighbor & Jane (Trujillo) Medina. On December 14, 1989, he married Evelyn Valencia in Greeley.
John is survived by his father, Neighbor Medina, daughters, Shara Smith, Marie Lucy, Stacy Smith & Michelle Valencia Trujillo, a sister Sarah Trujillo, his grandchildren; Andrenikka Valencia, Leandra Ramirez, Devin Archuleta, John Sena III, Mariah Cerda, Patric Vigil, Angelo Lujan, Aidan Lucy, Alyson Lucy, Janessa Naranjo, Jesus Garcia III, Marybel Garcia, Angela Puga, and Mario Garcia, 15 great grandchildren, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jane Trujillo, his wife, Evelyn Lucero, a brother, Mark Lucero, and a grandson, Phillip Lujan.
A Celebration of John’s life will be held at a later date.
