Rev. Dr. Joseph F. Turnner, Jr., 73, of Greeley passed away Friday, May 7, 2021 at his home.
He was born May 14, 1947 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Alice Collins and Joseph Turnner, Sr. He worked as a long haul truck driver, heavy equipment operator and security guard for many years. He later received his doctorate and became an ordained minister through the Baptist Church. Joseph was married to Cora Moore for several years before her death.
He was a member of the New Jerusalem M.B. Church.
Survivors include his son, Monolito Turner of Greeley; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Ralph Butler Rose and Randy Maralyn; and sister, Rose Mary Farris.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Cora Moore; and grandson, Monolito Turner.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, May 14, 2021 at Linn Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Moser Funeral Service Chapel.
