Josephine Marie Mireles, 63, of Greeley, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at her home.

She was born January 13, 1957 in Greeley, Colorado to Panfilo & Margaret (Meakins) Mireles. She has lived in Greeley her entire life. She was a graduate of Greeley West High School and later went on to work as a security guard at JBS/Swift. She enjoyed playing bingo and working on cars as well as singing and dancing. Spending time with her grandchildren was what she loved most. Family was very important to her.

She is survived by her mother, Margaret Ornelas, her sons, Justin and Ryan Andrew Mireles, her daughters, Jayleen Jo Martinez and Amy Beltran, her brothers, Richard Mireles, Tony Palos, and Robert Palos, her sisters, Virgie Gomez, Angel Ornelas Figueroa, Julie Mireles, Luvina Mireles, & Linda Kathy Mireles, and 8 grandchildren.

She was preceded by her great grandmother, Julia Martinez, her father, Panfilo Mireles, a sister, Peggy Mireles, and a niece Yvonne Renea Chan Moreno.

A visitation will be held from 3:00-6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans, Colorado. A Celebration of Josephine’s life will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 7, 2020 also at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at the Evans Cemetery.
