Juana De La Cruz De Avila, 80 of Gill passed away on Friday, January 8, 2016 at the Hospice Inpatient Unit.

She was born on March 25, 1935 in San Antonio, Tlaltenango, Zacatecas, Mexico. She married Antonio Avila in Tlaltenango on February 9, 1952.

Survivors include her husband, Antonio Avila, 3 sons, Rogaciano, Luis and Juan Avila; 3 daughters, Lucila, Maria and Pilar Avila; 28 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro De La Cruz and Santos Garcia and a daughter, Rosa Conchas Avila.

Visitation will be from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. followed by the Recitation of Rosary at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 14th at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 1311 3rd Street in Greeley. Interment following at Linn Grove Cemetery.
