Judith (Judy) Davenport, 80 of LaSalle passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at the Medical Center of the Rockies.

Judy was born in Negaunee, Michigan on September 1, 1938. She attended Northern Michigan University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. She taught elementary school for 35 years, primarily in Colorado, where she made a difference for hundreds of young children. In 1971, she married the love of her life, Avery (Dave) Davenport, and they had 19 wonderful years together.

Judy was an incredibly loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She also cherished the many friendships she developed over the years.

She will be forever loved and remembered by her son James; her two daughters-in-law Julie and Rose, her six grandchildren Morgen (Jason), Jacob, Marisa, Joseph, Annie, and Genna; and her five great-grandchildren Hailey, Nicholas, Delanie, Raiyah, and Gabriel. She is preceded in death by her husband Avery and her son Robert.

Private family services will be held.
