Obituary

Judy Blevins, age 50, of Greeley died Friday, September 14, 2007 at North Colorado Medical Center.
Judy was born on February 10, 1957 in Fairbury, Nebraska to Paige and Lois (Baand) Minney. Judy grew up in California, where she attended Downey High school and beauty school. Judy met Roy Blevins II in 1976 and they married March 5, 1977 in California. Roy and Judy moved to Greeley in 1979 and lived here ever since. Judy has worked many jobs over the years spending 8 years at U-Pump-It. Judy spent much of her recent time with her second family at Roasty's Steakhouse. Judy was known for her caring and giving nature. She would help anyone, and was well liked by many that have met her. Judy loved casinos, lottery tickets, and playing bingo. She was known to decorate for every holiday and dressing up at Halloween. Judy loved her trike motocycle. Having a love and appreciation for Harley-Davidson motorcycles, Judy and Roy attended many bike runs and rallies, including trips to Sturgis, SD for the yearly rally. Judy was a very spiritual person that collected angels. On top of all that, Judy was an animal lover. Just like people she would do anything to help them out, at one time feeding foxes on a daily basis until her death.
Judy is survived by her husband, Roy Blevins, II of Greeley; a son, Roy (fiancee Alayna Seidensticker) Blevins III of Greeley; her daughters, Shawna (fiance Colter Mann) Minney, of Greeley; and Roxanne (Andy) Polland of Evans; 9 grandchildren; AJ Polland, Austen Blevins, Dillon Nollett, Dominic Nollett, Abbie Polland, Kylee Blevins, Madysen Blevins, Kimberly Nollett, and Paulina Nollett; Her mother Lois Minney of Greeley; her brothers, John Minney, of Greeley, Jim Minney of Johnstown, and Stanley Stingliner of Kansas; a Brother-in-law, Andy Braga of California; Her sister, Faith (Ronnie)Davis of Co. Springs; her grandfather, Robert Harrison of Omaha , NE, and many special friends from Roasty's. Judy was preceded in death by her father, Paige Minney; a son, David Medina; a brother Robert Minney, and a sister, Debbie Montes.
A funeral service to celebrate Judy's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m.at the funeral home on Tuesday. Memorial contributions can be made to the Weld County Humane Society.
