Karen Neale, 69 of Greeley, died on Friday, February 1, 2008 at the Hospice & Palliative Care of Northern Colorado Inpatient Unit. She was born on November 17, 1938 in Sedqwick, Kansas her parents were Joseph and Barbara (Benest) VanCleve. Karen gradutated from Randall High School in Denver. She married Richard L. "Dick" Neale on March 30, 1960 in Wichita, Kansas. They both enjoyed Living and traveling extensively throughout the world. He preceded her in death on March 31, 2004. Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Neale of Greeley; her son, Scott Neale of Greeley; 3 grandchildren, Laruen Neale, Devin Neale and Hannah Neale-Malkasian all of Greeley and 2 brothers, Jerry VanCleve of San Francisco, California and Joel VanCleve of Denver. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dick Neale and her parents. A funeral service to celebrate Karen's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans. Interment will be with her husband at Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver following the services.
