Karen Seckler died peacefully at home on June 30, 2022, surrounded by family after her two-year struggle with cancer.
Born in India of Lutheran missionaries Edward and Winifred Krafft, Karen first moved to Greeley as a teenager. Her marriage to David Seckler in 1969 subsequently took her to many locations worldwide until her return to Greeley in 2000. She left a trail of friends and acquaintances who were touched by her faith in Jesus our Savior and her generous, loving, and artistic heart.
She is survived by her husband David, daughter Veronica Rowan, and grandchildren Colin, Gabrielle and Ian Rowan, son-in-law Mark Murphy, seven brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews.
Her daughter, Adrienne Murphy, preceded her to heaven.

Graveside services will be 9:30 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2022, at Sunset Memorial Gardens. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 950 43rd Avenue in Greeley.
