Karen Warehime (McFarland), 79, of Arvada, CO passed away on February 19, 2024. Karen was born on August 19, 1944, to Elmer Lee McFarland and Mary Beatrice McFarland (Humphreys) in Newton, Iowa.

She graduated from Newton High school in 1962 and moved to Colorado where she met and married Roger Paul Warehime on February 1, 1963.

Together they had three daughters; Menda Ide, Gennitta Danielson (Leif), and Rachel Houchen, seven grandchildren; Christopher Warehime, Chelsea Warne, Kendall Smith (Ryan), David Houchen, Leif Danielson, Ezekiel Danielson, and Jetta Houchen, and three great-grandchildren; Faith Warehime, Oliver Smith, and Atlas Smith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and ten of her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one sister.

She was a dedicated crude oil accountant and was always an active member in her local church. She spent her retirement years involved with the Prime Time group at Faith Church in Arvada. She is now in the arms of her great loves, her husband and Jesus.
