Karen Elaine Weaver of Windsor, CO passed away on July 23, 2023, after a short battle with cancer at the age of 76. Karen was born to Andrew and Carrie Schaaf (deceased) in Paterson, NJ, and has 2 surviving brothers Kenneth and Wayne. She is now joined in Heaven with her beloved husband Jeff of 35 years.

Karen spent most of her younger years on the east coast and attended nursing school in Michigan. After moving to Colorado, she worked as a nurse at Poudre Valley Hospital and graduated from Colorado State University. Later in life after marrying her husband Jeff, they followed their hearts for the love of our Lord and Savior and attended Colorado Bible College. After graduating, they moved around the US spreading the Word of Jesus and sharing their journey of faith with everyone they met.

Karen is survived by her children Jeff Dykstra (Holly), Marc Dykstra (Chasity), Denise Dykstra (Terry), stepdaughters Shanna Wandmacher (Mark), Shanelle Wagner (Kevin), and 11 grandchildren. Karen's heart was filled with unconditional love and touched the lives of many, she will be missed. A private celebration of Karen's life will be held by her family.
