Obituary

Karl E. Snow, 68 of Greeley, died on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on March 13, 1943 in Rock Springs, Wyoming to George B. & Hannah M. (Pryde) Snow. Karl graduated from Pinedale High School in Pinedale, Wyoming in 1962. He later married Jeanette Quinlivan on August 29, 1965 in Pinedale. The couple lived there until 1972 when Karl took a job with Weld County Ambulance Service and they moved to Greeley. He also started S&W Sign Company in 1978 which he owned and operated until his retirement in 2004. He enjoyed his wood working up until the time of his passing. Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Snow of Greeley; his mother, Hannah Snow of Jackson Hole, Wyoming; 2 daughters and their husbands, Shannon & Duane Rankine of Evans and Wanda & Marty Helm of Greeley; a special nephew, Hank Snow of Greeley; 4 grandchildren, Christopher Lopez, Tobi Lopez, Alec Helm and Emily Helm; 1 great grandchild, a sister and her husband, Darlene and Bob Penton of Pinedale, Wyoming; 2 brothers and their wives, Roy & Peg Snow of Pinedale and Dennis & Sandy Snow of Glendive, Montana. He is preceded in death by his father, George Snow and 2 brothers, Ray and Ron Snow. A memorial service to celebrate Karl's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans.
