Our precious Katelyn Michelle Brand, age 8, after a life long battle with cancer, entered the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at her home in Greeley, Colorado surrounded by her family.

Katelyn was born on July 16, 2006, in Greeley, Colorado to Marissa Turner and Sean Brand.
Katelyn will be remembered as a loving and kind girl who could put a smile on anyone’s face. Her smile and sense of humor were uplifting and amazing as well as her ability to make others laugh even in the tough times. Katelyn is known for being very creative and spent countless hours crafting and playing with her “My Little Ponies”.

Katelyn is survived by her parents, Marissa Turner and Nathan Rudolph and Sean and Katie Brand; step siblings, Elijah and Julia; her maternal grandparents, Monolito and Shala Turner; her Uncle Juno; her paternal grandparents, Arthur Brand and Deborah Kelly; great grandparents, many aunts, uncles and cousins as well as her beloved dogs Rosie and Daisy.

Celebration of Life services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 6, 2015 at Greeley Wesleyan Church, 3600 22nd Street in Greeley. Interment at Linn Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 6th at Moser Funeral Service, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans. Contributions can be made to Cares for Katelyn at Gofundme.com.
