Kathleen Mary Edwards Cline (aka Buffalo Wallo Woman), 74, of Ogallala, Nebraska, passed away on March 24, 2025. Her daughter Kate was with her peacefully.

She was born on September 17, 1950, in North Platte, Nebraska, to Florence Viehman and Wallace Cline. Kathleen married Norman Edwards, and together they raised two children, Kate and David. She was not only an extraordinary mother to her own children, but a guiding light and second mother to many others.

Kathleen—"Kathy" to those who knew and loved her—had a rare gift for capturing life's beauty. Her photography and massive collection of pictures stand as a testament to her unique eye and deep appreciation for life. She loved music, planting flowers, reading, and decorating her home with care and creativity. Camping was her favorite part of summer, and she found joy in the simplest pleasures—art, vintage lamps, and beautiful white blouses. Even her dreams were precious to her; every night was its own adventure.

Her beloved sister and best friend, Penny, survives her, along with her children, grandchildren, and a wide circle of family and friends who were blessed to know her. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Wally and Liza Edwards, and Sam and Eda Jorgensen.
Kathy had a special way of making everyone feel seen, loved, and celebrated. Her open heart, radiant kindness, and laughter left an unforgettable mark on all who met her. She was the heart and soul of the Turkey Feather Tribe, which she nurtured for over 40 years through annual gatherings and deep connections. Her AGCO sisters and the countless lives she touched mourn her passing and celebrate her spirit.

She always said to me, especially lately, "Just give it up to God." And so I will.
My mother was my rock and my best friend. She lived and loved fiercely. Her laughter will echo in our hearts, and her memory will light the way—until we see her again.

Her Celebration of Life will be held at Pals, 4520 S. Buffalo Bill Avenue, North Platte, on April 26th from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
