Kathleen (Kat) Ann Russell, 60, of Greeley died August 21, 2014 at the North Colorado Medical Center due to complications with diabetes. She was born September 10, 1953 in Greeley to Leroy and Martha (Williams) Steinmiller. Kat graduated from Greeley West High School in 1971. She was married to Howard Russell from 1998 until his death in 2003. She was previously married to Warren Howell and later Brian McSorley. She enjoyed fishing and time in the mountains, concerts, horses, and spending time with her grandchildren and friend Steve Mason. She is survived by her sons; Jeff Howell, Jon Howell, Phillip McSorley and Jesse Russell, her brother William Steinmiller, 5 grandchildren, and her beloved dog, Spike. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Marty Steinmiller and her husband Howard Russell. A celebration of Kat's life will be 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 29, 2014 at the First Congregational Church, 2101 16th Street in Greeley, Farr Chapel.
