Kathleen "Kathy" Sue Wiltse, 65, of Ault, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026, at Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, Colorado.

She was born on December 6, 1960, in Greeley to Kenneth R. and Beverly A. (Cook) Wiltse. The family moved to Ault in 1961, and Kathy continued to reside there until she passed away.

Kathy attended the special education program in Kersey and then went on to be a client of Schaefer Enterprises in Greeley, doing different jobs in the area. She enjoyed her time at Schaefer and the opportunities to meet new people and learn new skills. She was also a member of First Lutheran Church in Ault and loved being a part of their congregation. Above all, Kathy cherished time spent with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth R. Wiltse; her brother, Michael A. Wiltse; and her grandparents, Jasper D. and Lillian V. Cook, Larmen G. Wiltse, and Minnie J. Wiltse Kleber.

Kathy is survived by her mother, Beverly A. Wiltse; her brother and sister-in-law, Gary L. (Sandy) Wiltse; her nieces, Amy Wiltse (Matt Jandera), Erin (Abe) Sutter, Tara Wiltse, and Tina (Justin) Flanigan; nephew, Craig Wiltse; and great-nieces and nephew, Brittany (Patrick) Brashear, Breah Wiltse, Zaya Wiltse, Lyla Wiltse, Lily Flanigan, Sawyer Jandera, Avery Jandera, Jack Sutter, Emma Sutter, and Ben Sutter.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at First Lutheran Church, 402 Graefe Avenue in Ault, Colorado. A private family graveside will be held at Eaton Cemetery.
