Foundations Church - Windsor
Starts at 10:30 am (Mountain time)
Keith Edwin Moore of Windsor, CO passed away peacefully on June 25, 2026. He is now praising his Savior with a sound mind and body.
Keith was born in La Junta, CO on June 6, 1943, to Henry and Evelyn Moore. He was raised in Pueblo, CO, graduating from Pueblo South High School in 1961, then a short term at Pueblo Jr. College, followed by earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Colorado State University in 1965. Keith married the love of his life, Barbara Jean Haase, on Dec. 27, 1965.
Keith began his career teaching math at Corwin Junior High School in Pueblo, later teaching at Bill Reed Middle School in Loveland and Lincoln Junior High School in Fort Collins. After his teaching career, he joined the data processing department at Poudre School District before accepting a position with Westinghouse in Longmont, Colorado, which later became Centennial BOCES. He worked there as a software project manager until his retirement in 2007.
Keith was active in his church, serving as choir director/worship leader and also on elder boards. His musical inclinations inspired him to play his trumpet throughout high school and in the CSU marching band. He could always be found humming a tune and couldn’t wait to see Jesus playing that horn to welcome him home. Keith’s highest priority, passion, and commitment was to serve Jesus Christ and to love and care for his family, in which he took great pride.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Evelyn.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara, their children, Lorinda Habighorst of Windsor, CO, Rochelle (Jay) Meyer of Timnath, CO, and Brent (Elizabeth) Moore of Sheridan, WY; grandchildren, Josiah (Brandi) Habighorst, Emma, Leah and Zane Meyer, Grayson, and Maclane and Lincoln Moore; and great-grandchildren, Kaceton and Colter Habighorst. He is also survived by his brother, Larry of Lombard, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His family is grateful for the gracious and compassionate care Keith received at Generations Memory Care at Stoneridge, along with Bloom Hospice, and Visiting Angels.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Dementia Together, 4025 Automation Way, Unit F2, Ft. Collins, CO 80525.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Foundations Church - Windsor, 1159 Main Street, Windsor, CO 80550.
